100 Days of S was a self-initiated project that occurred between April – mid-July 2015, inspired by Elle Luna & The Great Discontent’s #The100DayProject. I selected a theme of the letter ’S’ and documented them in a photographic essay.
My favourite explorations from the project was making the letter ’S’ with found items and everyday objects – including what happened to be on my dinner plate that day. If the plate felt lacklustre one day, I’d fill the gaps with creative activities that began with an ’S’ (e.g. singing).
What is the 100-Day Project?
“It’s a celebration of process that encourages everyone to participate in 100 days of making. The great surrender is the process; showing up day after day is the goal. For the 100-Day Project, it’s not about fetishizing finished products—it’s about the process.”
“To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.” — Osho
